A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Business Administration, Kim has been active with the company since 1977 on a full-time basis. As President of Schwickert’s of Mankato, Inc., the parent company for all Schwickert’s operating companies, he oversees company planning, fixed assets and contract negotiations.

In addition, Kim is President of Schwickert Company, directing the operations of commercial and residential roofing, as well as commercial and residential HVAC installation and service.

He is currently on the President's Council of Tecta America Corp., served as Chairman of the Technical and Research Committee for the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association, and is currently Director for the South Central College and Technical School in Mankato.

Kent Schwickert- Graduated from Mankato West High School in 1977. Attended Dunwoody Technical Institute- Minneapolis, MN (1977-78/ Construction estimating programs) and the University of Minnesota- Minneapolis, MN (1977-82/ Economics & Finance- B.A. Degrees) simultaneously, and graduated from each respective institution.

Joined Schwickert, Inc. in 1982 and performed the duties of a mechanical piping/ plumbing estimator and project manager until 1985. In 1985, named President of Schwickert’s of Rochester, Inc. and Operations Manager of Schwickert, Inc. Named President of Schwickert, Inc, in 1987. In 1993 was named Vice President of Schwickert’s of Mankato, Inc. and currently maintains these positions.
Mr. Schwickert today oversees the sales and marketing efforts, operations activities, and administrative duties of all Schwickert Companies.

In 2000, Schwickert of Mankato, Inc. became a founding company and gained membership in Tecta America Corporation, a national provider of roofing services. Mr. Schwickert currently serves as an active member of the President’s Council of Tecta America, serving on several operating committees.
