Skokie, IL., FEBRUARY, 2008 –Tecta America Corp., the nation’s largest roofing company, announces the acquisition of Standard Roofing, one of the premier roofing contracting firms in Phoenix, AZ. Standard Roofing was founded by Bill England in 1980 and was awarded Roofing Contractor of the Year in 2007 by the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association.
The acquisition further enhances Tecta America’s position as the nation’s largest commercial roofing company with over 50 locations nationwide and a workforce of more than 3,000 employees.
Mark Santacrose, President and CEO of Tecta America said, “We’re excited about the growth opportunity in Phoenix. Bill and Randy have built a strong operation and have a great reputation in the Phoenix market. They bring a good team with them and will allow us to gain a strong foothold in the important Phoenix market.”
Tecta America will provide the newly acquired operating unit with the full scope of Tecta America’s corporate strengths including increased marketing resources, safety and productivity programs, and solid financial strength including insurance, bonding and a strong balance sheet.
