Capp Industries is a property management company based in the Twin Cities Metro in Minnesota. One of their buildings, BE  Equipment, was suffering from roof leaks. The original built-up-roof (BUR) was starting to expand, crack, and overall cause issues.
Schwickert’s served as Roofing Contractor for this roof replacement.

After Schwickert’s Roofing & Exteriors team tore off the old roofing system, they installed 1 layer of 2/6” ISO. On top of the insulation, Schwickert’s mechanically fastened 7” fasteners and plates. They then installed 60-mil Johns Manville TPO utilizing the RhinoBond attachment method. To complete this full reroof, Schwickert’s team installed a roof hatch with a safety rail.

This project had complex moving parts throughout its timeline. The Schwickert’s team operated over and around the exterior of the occupied warehouse and manufacturing facility. Due to the facility remaining open, close communication and cooperation were necessary between Schwickert’s team and the property manager.
