Finding the Right Long Term Solution
What began as targeted leak repairs for the State Bank of Faribault, evolved into a 12,100 square foot commercial roofing project for our Commercial Roofing Team. This roof replacement took place after a detailed on-site evaluation, which revealed the long-term value of addressing the entire system at once.

” They saw the value that Schwickert's brought to the table and decided it was the best opportunity to get it all done at one time.

Todd Langdon, Senior Roofing Project Manager, worked closely with the State Bank of Faribault to assess the existing leaks and overall roof conditions. The original plan was to repair three of the five roof sections. Upon further assessment, opportunities to improve performance and longevity were uncovered.
The entire scope of this project included a full tear-off, followed by two layers of 2.6” ISO insulation, mechanically fastened to the deck. To help with drainage, Qs were set around the drains to direct water to the sump areas. A 60-mil adhered EPDM membrane was applied, providing a reliable, watertight seal across the roof.
The Schwickert’s team also addressed one particular roof section and wall that had been continuously leaking. The crew installed a flush wall panel system that not only stopped water intrusion but also was aesthetically pleasing for customers entering the bank.
