Carlson-Tillisch Eye Clinic

After 33 years at the same location in Mankato, Carlson-Tillisch Eye Clinic searched and acquired a new office building. While the new building met many of the desires, there were also many updates needed to meet their specific business needs.

In preparation for the renovation of the new property, Carlson-Tillisch Eye Clinic hired Schwickert’s as the architectural sheet metal and roofing contractor. Immediately, Schwickert’s worked closely with the project architect, Oleson & Hobbie, to design a one–of–a–kind perforated metal panel, which boasts eye shaped cut-outs.

Kicking the project off, Schwickert’s installed Henry fluid applied weather barrier behind a majority of the ACM panel areas.

The team then fabricated and installed Schwickert’s Wet Seal-100 and Rain Screen-100 panels, which were made from Reynobond ACM material.

As for the roofing portion, Schwickert’s installed Carlisle 60 mil EPDM roof membrane at all new exterior walls.

This project won the Mankato City Center Partnership award for City Design of Excellence.
