Project Scope of Work
Schwickert’s was hired for an architectural metals project at Dakota Meadows Middle School in North Mankato, MN. They installed Z-Furring with rigid insulation over the framed and precast walls. To support the metal panel system, they added shop-fabricated 16-gauge hat channels over the Z-Furring and the insulation.
The exterior walls were transformed with Metalsales T-6A horizontal wall panels, covering 9,100 square feet, and Schwickert’s RS-100 ACM Rain Screen panels, covering 1,800 square feet.
This project not only enhanced the aesthetic of the school but also provided improved insulation and durability to the new swimming pool addition.
