MN Adult & Teen Challenge

In 2024, Schwickert’s took on one of their largest metal re-roofs to date with a project at MN Adult and Teen Challenge in Rochester, MN. The team removed 62,500 square feet of existing standing seam metal roofing and replaced it with new mechanically seamed panels in a sleek Medium Bronze color. Alongside the roof replacement, Schwickert’s addressed 8,200 square feet of deteriorating wall panels, installing new flush wall panels to upgrade both performance and appearance. The scope also included swapping out over 10,000 square feet of aging wood soffit panels with durable residential-style vented aluminum soffit.

Extensive leaks in the existing roof and wall systems led to unexpected damage. Despite the additional work,  the project stayed on track. By September 2024, the transformation was complete. The new metal panels provided the building with a fresh, watertight system that not only resolves long-standing issues but also offers reliability for years to come.
