Project Scope of Work

In 2016, the City of Rochester bought the former Think Bank building to accommodate the expanding Police Department. Following the purchase, they proposed a remodeling and expansion project which was approved in 2018. The remodeling and expansion would allow the North Service Center and Police Station to act as a home for both the Police Department, as well as for the city’s Development Services department.

The City of Rochester hired Schwickert’s as commercial roofing contractor at the newly established location to install a Carlisle EPDM roof system and a Firestone UC-4 Standing Seam roof system.

Schwickert’s laid flat and tapered polyisocyanurate (ISO) insulation, followed by Ballast Carlisle EPDM roofing systems and the Firestone Standing Seam system on 5 different roof sections totaling in 34,700 square feet.

The North Service Center & Police Station connects to an existing building, of which Schwickert’s completed the roofing project, as well just last year.
